In an NFL Films' tribute to Alfred Hitchcock, NFL Films has posted an un-cut video of the last eight seconds of Matthew playing against the Cleveland Browns. Steve Sabol, president and founder of NFL Films, says that Matthew gave "one of the most courageous performances" he has ever seen. Sabol and NFL Films have been wiring players since the early 1960s.
