Lions hurting without Matthew Stafford

It's obvious how anemic the Lions offense has become since Matthew got injured. It's amazing how in such a short time he has become almost indispensible for the Lions if they are to have some modicum of success.

Detroit Free Press beat writer Dave Birkett had some interesting things to say on his Twitter account. Here's what he said during yesterday's game, "Lions are feisty and not very good right now. Offense has no juice w/o Stafford/Best." Couldn't have said it better myself. And when he was asked about when Matthew would be back, he said, "Wouldnt expect him next wk. Stafford feeling better; Still not throwing

The Detroit Lions held their press conference Wednesday, and Matthew mentioned that his shoulder was feeling better, but he did not practiced and said that he would not start throwing again until the team's staff felt that he was ready to throw.
