According to NFL.com's Thomas George, Matthew will be drafted by the Detroit Lions with the No. 1 pick regardless if contract negotiations have been finalized or not before the draft starts on Saturday. Solomon Wilcotts, also of NFL.com, stated that he's hearing that both sides have already agreed on the amount of guranteed money, and that negotiations of how the guranteed money will be handed out are still going on.
